The American Elm Ulmus americana cultivar 'Klehmii' was cloned from a tree growing at Arlington Heights by Mr Charles Klehm, proprietor of the Charles Klehm & Son nursery [1] [2].

The tree was first marketed by the Naperville Nurseries [3], Naperville, Illinois, in 1929. It is not known whether the tree remains in cultivation.
